It's almost that time of year friends to start enjoying the skating rink at MB Financial Park and we have the information you are looking for as to when the skating begins and the park gets lit up for the holiday.

As temperatures drop, MB Financial Park will kick off the holiday season with the opening of the Chicago Wolves Ice Rink and “Light Up The Park” tree lighting event Friday, November 24.

“Rosemont looks forward to the opening of our ice rink every year, “said Rosemont Mayor Brad Stephens. “The additions of the ice rink and spectacular holiday lights transform our entertainment district into a winter wonderland and help make it a must-visit destination during this festive season.”

The NHL-sized ice rink will officially open for the season at 11 a.m. Visitors can enjoy various holiday festivities throughout the day as part of “Light Up The Park” including visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, ice carving, and free horse-drawn sleigh rides around the park.
