Learning to Adult with Richard Sherman

Growing up in the neighborhood I grew up in there were certain people you looked up to. The neighbor who had the cool Trans-Am. The one kid who had the exotic animals and the neighborhood gangbangers who did not take crap from anyone. Not really good role models if you think about it, but I still learned a thing or two from them.

Make Epic Choices with George and Harold in Captain Underpants Epic Choice-O-Rama

Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is a movie I can watch over and over with my children. I think my son actually watches it twice a month in our household. If you have never seen it here is our review and why we highly recommend it. The movie is a great tale of friendship between two boys and how their imagination strengthens their friendship and get them in trouble now and then.

On the Road with Disney on Ice: Road Trip Adventures

Disclaimer: The Fandads were invited to attend Disney on Ice: Road Trip Adventures in exchange for media coverage. All thoughts, opinions, and feelings of joy are our own.

My family has been lucky in attending a lot of Disney on Ice shows in the past few years. My wife would buy us seats close to the ice and as the site grew we started getting invited to attend the shows. My daughter loves seeing her favorite characters on the ice and when we took our son to his first show, he was ecstatic the entire time. We are lucky to have been invited to the latest show and we are excited to see the new program that they have created.

Time to get creepy & kooky with The Addams Family

Growing up, I remember watching The Addams Family on television. I remember loving the craziness of each episode and wanting to visit the Addams. During grad school, the live-action movies came out and I loved the transition from the small to the big screen. The zaniness was there and the actors they chose to play were perfect.

When the newest version of the Addams family came out on the big screen I took my children to see it and we enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that I'll tip my hat to it (if you see the movie, you might get that joke). Read about the upcoming home release and how you can win a copy for your family.

Exploring the outside world with Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts

We always love watching new shows with our children and lately we have a few favorite shows on Netflix that my children and I watch together. Yesterday we started watching Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeast and we went through half the series before bedtime. With the bright colors, frenetic energy, interesting characters, and fantastic music, this show has become one of our newest favorites on Netflix. I think we will watch this series a few times until the next season comes out.
