Video Game Time 6/2 Edition

Today's Video Game Time is going to be short because there really isn't much released today.  The few games that were released today were Alpha Protocol (360, PS3), Pure Football (360, PS3) & The Sims 3:Ambitions Expansion Pack. (PC)  There is also a chance to win a DLC code for Modnation Racers at the end of today's column. 



Now I admit that Alpha Protocol seems pretty interesting, but right now I don't have time to tackle an RPG, especially an espionage RPG, as the game describes itself.  With taking care of my little girl and trying to finish Red Dead Redemption I don't have the time right now. The game does look great visually and is compared to Mass Effect in it's gameplay.  One difference that intrigues me is the decision making process of the game.  Where as in Mass Effect you have a few options and a good amount of time to choose what to say, Alpha Protocol gives you a few seconds.  This is great because you have to make quick decisions like a real spy and your choices affect the game. 

Although I would like to play this game, I think that I will wait awhile until I have the time to dedicate myself to the game.

Last week I talked about Modnation Racers and let me tell you, I am loving this game.  So far I created a few tracks and it was super easy to create.  I also created two "mods" a Boba Fett and a Cobra Commander, and I have to say the Cobra Commander came out looking pretty sweet.

I know that the helmet is a little off, but I haven't unlocked one that resembles his original helmet.  I'm trying to make a few more Mods, but thinking of something that hasn't been done is kind of hard.  If anyone has some suggestions, swing them by my way and I will try to make them.

Fandads has a Modnation Racers DLC code to give away to one lucky reader.  The code is for the character Air Raid.  This code was given away by a few websites and Fandads was fortunate enough to get one of the codes to give away.
