Recently my little girl has gotten a case of the "gimmies". Now it hasn't gotten to the point where she throws herself on the ground and has tantrums like Brother & Sister bear in the picture above, but it has become an issue that we are trying to curb before it gets worse. Whenever she says, "gimmie that!" I respond to her "No, that's not how you ask for things. You say, "Can I have that please"" and then she will repeat what I just said. This process goes on a few times a day, so slowly I hope she is internalizing it to the point where she won't say it anymore.
