Having fun in the 100 Acre Woods with Christopher Robin

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with an advance copy of Christopher Robin to review. All thoughts, opinions and dusty eyes are our own.

I remember the first time I saw the teaser trailer for Christopher Robin. I knew it was a movie about Winnie the Pooh, but the moment I heard his voice my eyes started to tear up. There is just something about his voice that brings back so many memories for me and seeing him live was just the icing on the cake.

The movie Christopher Robin is reminiscent of "Hook" in a way. Both movies have a beloved Disney character. The character has grown up and forgotten about their adventures with their old friends. In the midst of a new adventure with their friends, they remember what it is like to be a kid again and what is important. This might be a simple summary of the movies, but there is a lot more to discover when you watch the entire movie.

Christopher Robin is a great family movie to watch together. With the school year in full swing and our children's many after-school activities, it is hard to have everyone together at the same time and enjoy some quality time. This movie will remind us of what is important, and that is family. I think we will make time to watch this together a few times throughout the year.

As with all home releases, there are plenty of great extras to enjoy. From how Pooh became part of the Disney family to seeing how they made the character come to life. Out of all of the extras my favorite has to be about Jim Cummings, who voices Pooh and Tigger.
