Remember the first time you saw a Star Wars poster?

When I was little we would always go to our local theater, The Riviera to see movies. Nowadays, The Riviera is a concert hall that houses a lot of great concerts, but let's focus on it when it was a theater.
I remember one year when we were walking in the lobby I saw a poster for RETURN OF THE JEDI. The poster just grabbed me and I froze and stared at it.

I remember pointing at it to my dad and he just looked at me and smiled.  Seeing that poster got me so excited that that was all I could think about. As we left the theater that day I ran over to the poster and looked at it one more time. The image of Darth Vader's helmet superimposed over the image of Luke and Vader fighting with their lightsabers made me wish that I could snap my fingers and go forward in time.

With the release of the new character posters this week I get the same feeling, especially seeing the posters of Han Solo and Princess Leia.  Even though the movie is about a month away, I wish I could snap my fingers and flash forward to December 18th. Until then check out the posters and prepare to count down the days....if you are not already.
