Recently my little girl has gotten a case of the "gimmies". Now it hasn't gotten to the point where she throws herself on the ground and has tantrums like Brother & Sister bear in the picture above, but it has become an issue that we are trying to curb before it gets worse. Whenever she says, "gimmie that!" I respond to her "No, that's not how you ask for things. You say, "Can I have that please"" and then she will repeat what I just said. This process goes on a few times a day, so slowly I hope she is internalizing it to the point where she won't say it anymore.
Are you children starting any habits that you feel might be an issue as they get older? Let us know what you are experiencing and how you are going about in correcting the issue.
Thanks for reading.
