When I first got the flyer to the Marvel Universe Live show I almost lost it. I became so excited that I could not wait for it to arrive in Chicago and guess what my friends, that time is almost here.

Yes, the Marvel Universe Live show will be coming to Chicago in September. It will be arriving at the United Center first on September 10-13 and then move to the Allstate Arena on September 18-20.

This live show will have everything for the Marvel fans and looks to be a spectacular showcase of stunts, special effects and amazing fight choreography. When I lived at home with my parents I used to run a lot on their treadmill. It was my daily routine; three miles a day. My exercise routine soon diminished due to school and work and it was just regulated to walking my dog at night. I started missing that feeling. That feeling of being tired after a work out, but yet still feeling good, so I decided to change that.

Scooby-Doo and KISS: Rock and Roll Mystery Blu-Ray Giveaway

When I was younger KISS was one of the groups that my dad would listen to every now and then and I remembered being scared of Gene Simmons. I think it was the spitting of the blood that would creep me out, but I enjoyed their music nonetheless.

I always thought that Gene Simmons character would make a great addition to the various monsters and ghouls on Scooby-Doo and it seems that someone thought of this idea some 30-plus years after I thought of it.

As a father of two children sometimes preparing a home cooked meal is something that is not practical. After driving my wife to work, playing with my kids all day and trying to squeeze in a run, when it comes to meal time, there are days when I need something that is quick and easy to prepare. What is a busy dad to do?

The Tradition continues this December! #StarWarsMemories

I first saw Star Wars when I was five years old. Episode V was re-released in the theaters in anticipation for the next movie in the saga. I remember being mesmerized by the spaceships, the aliens and most importantly the lightsabers. At that moment Star Wars became an important part of my life, but it also started a family tradition.

Grilling with the Fandads! #Sponsored

I was originally going to call this post "The five things that you need to grill this summer", but I started to think about it and realized that you can not pick just five things. There are so many great foods out there to grill that you will leave something out and people would start to complain and throw tomatoes at you wherever you go and it would all be a big mess.

So instead of just choosing five things to grill, I'm just going to talk to you about a few things that I recently cooked on my grill. Ever since having kids I have tried something new everyday, so why not trying something new on the grill this summer?

Playing it safe with the Kidde RemoteLync Monitor. #Sponsored

When I was little I never really was concerned with safety. I would ride my bike everywhere without a helmet. I would jump over fences without looking at what was below and just rough house with my friends throughout the day until it was time to come inside.

It seems that when you were younger safety was not really a big concern, but as you got older, you started becoming more conscious as to what you were doing and what was going on around you.

Now, as a parent, I am constantly thinking about the safety of my children and with the RemoteLync Monitor from Kidde, that is one thing that I do not have to worry about too much.

Are you ready to play catch up? LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales Premieres July 6th!

Early this year when I went to Dad 2.0 in San Francisco, LEGO and Lucasfilm treated all of us to an advance preview of a new television series that we could not talk about.  We signed papers, gave them our fingerprints, a sample of our blood and were told which bounty hunter was going to hunt us down if we leaked any of this information to the masses.* Now, we can safely share the news the LEGO Star Wars Droid Tales is coming to a small screen near you on July 6th.
