As a fan of The Sims and a long time TSO (The Sims Online) player, I was looking forward to checking this game out. Of course, life gets in the way, but thanks to Best Buy I was given a chance to finally play Tomodachi Life.

The game was as much fun as I expected. Using your Mii's in the game is a nice touch, luckily I had a lot previous made, but making them from scratch takes no time at all. My girls, 4 and 2, had fun watching me play. They were in the game and since you have control over a lot of character's personality traits, I let them help me develop their Mii's.

From finding out what their favorite foods were to dressing them up, my girls were able to watch and influence what their Mii's would do and how they would develop. They can write songs, perform them on stage, become back up dancers, and wear goofy outfits.

I didn't have the time to create celebrity Mii's, but if you look online you can see how many people have made their own celebrity creations. Want to rock out with your favorite rock star? Or maybe see what would happen if you hit on your celebrity crush? Tomodachi Life can help you see what if? My wife and I are both in the game and we are currently best friends, I wonder if things will work out for us on the island? Heh.
