"I am Groot....well at least Little Groot" Toy Review

Who could not forget seeing little Groot dancing in his pot at the end of Guardians of the Galaxy?  I bet everyone that left the theater was thinking to themselves, "If they make a toy version of that Groot I am going to buy it!" 

Well, guess what friends, Hot Toys has created a version of this Groot and it is amazing.

Alright, so you bathed the kids, got their pajamas on and now it's time for them to brush their teeth.  Raise your hand if this becomes a never-ending battle with your kids.  Ok...I see a few hands up. When the Transformers first came out, I was in elementary school.  I loved cartoons and I was amazed by this cartoon that had robots changing into cars, planes and tape-recorders.  Transformers blew my mind and I would always race home to watch it.

The Fandads and friends share early Star Wars memories on May the 4th.

I recently mentioned that I was going to start a monthly Star Wars series until the release of the next movie.  Last month's post was put to the side because of the recently released second trailer.  I mean, if Star Wars releases a new trailer you put everything down and watch it over and over and over and over again.

So this month we will have two posts and there is no better time to start this than on May the 4th. Ready? Let's begin.

Dia Del Nino/Day of the Child (Yep, they get a day to themselves too)

April 30th was Dia del Niño.  This is a day when families celebrate their children. It is a national holiday in Mexico and it is starting to grow in popularity across the country. According to the National Museum of Mexican Art (NNMA), they have one of the largest Day of the Child celebrations in the country, right here in Chicago.
