Remember at the end of Big Hero 6 when Hiro finds Tadashi's chip inside Baymax's Rocket Fist? Next thing we see if Baymax hugging Hiro and the tears begin again? Well, did you know that Hiro did not build Baymax right away because there were certain items he needed to get to build him and those items were inside Tadashi's school? All of these little tidbits are shown in the new Big Hero 6 The Series which was just released on DVD this week.
The series continues where the movie ends off and we not only do we get to see Baymax being rebuilt, but we also see the further adventures of Big hero 6. The show gives off the same fun and adventure vibe of the movie and each episode is a lot of fun.
Most of the original voices from the movie are involved in the television show. I mean, Baymax would not be the same if Scott Adsit was not involved, but hearing his voice brings back all of the feels. One of the coolest things about the show is Fred's dad is voiced by comic book legend Stan Lee.
The show is a great continuation of the movie and would make a great addition to your DVD collection. We have some fun activity sheets for your family to enjoy while watching the show. From finding the differences to mazes, you will feel like one of the members of Big Hero 6 while working on this together like a team.
You can purchase your copy here and download your activity sheets here.
The adventures continue for tech genius Hiro Hamada and his healthcare companion, the lovable, inflatable Baymax! Picking up right before the end of the film, Hiro thinks Baymax is lost forever until he finds the chip Tadashi designed to create Baymax. Hiro immediately gets to work rebuilding Baymax, but Hiro’s overconfidence and impatience get him into trouble. The stakes are raised for Hiro, Baymax and their friends – adrenaline junkie Go Go, control freak Wasabi, chem whiz Honey Lemon and fanboy Fred – as they fight to protect San Fransokyo as the legendary superhero team Big Hero 6.
