The crew from Duckburg are at it again with more fun and adventures in their latest DVD, DuckTales: Destination Adventure! The new DVD has 6 episodes and 2 classic episodes that are on DVD for the first time. If you are a fan of Ducktales check out why this new release is a lot of fun.
I think if you were to just sing out the words "Ducktales" someone in the room will respond with a "woo-hoo!", I mean that phrase is so embedded in the minds of many of the people that I grew up with that it should be a given that someone responds that way. As a parent, I love sharing the shows that I grew up watching with my children. It is pretty cool to see them get excited about the shows and just to watch them react to the jokes that you thought were funny when you were their age.
When DuckTales was relaunched, I was a bit excited and nervous about how the show was going to be, but those worries were all gone when I saw the first episode. The show has that early 80's feeling that just takes away your worries and problems for those 30 minutes that you are in Duckburg. The show is a lot of fun and feels so authentic to the original series that we love watching all the episodes together and can not wait for the new ones to air on television.
The episodes on this DVD continue with the adventures of Huey, Dewey, Louie, Webby and Uncle Scrooge, but there was one reason that my daughter and I were really excited about this new collection. This collection has the episode "Beware the B.U.D.D.Y. System" which has a guest appearance by Lin-Manuel Maranda. My daughter was so excited when it was announced that he was going to be on the show and her excitement doubled when the episode aired in May. Now we can watch that episode over and over again.
