Long Way North makes the journey home tomorrow

Last year, the Fandads were lucky enough to see the animated movie Long Way North. With all the animated movies that were released last year, it was refreshing to see one that did not have musical numbers or 3D rendered characters. Although Long Way North did not have the same conventions as those movies, it did follow the tradition of having a strong female character in the lead role. Long Way North Movie Review

It's always great when you watch a movie with your daughter that has a strong female character in it. In a world where we see more princesses becoming independent, it's great when a movie comes along that shows a character finding her independence and gaining strength from it. In the movie LONG WAY NORTH, we see the two voyages with the main character Sacha: an internal voyage and external voyage.
