The first time I heard about Pacific Rim I could not wait to see it! The movie had everything that I wanted to see on the big screen: robots, monsters, and robots fighting monsters. This was my childhood dreams realized on the big screen and hearing that Guillermo del Toro was involved was made it that more exciting.

Transformers: The Last Knight

The Last Knight shatters the core myths of the Transformers franchise, and redefines what it means to be a hero. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone. Pacific Rim Blu-Ray Giveaway

Remember watching cartoons like Voltron and Tranzor Z (Mazinger Z) and just thinking how awesome those robots were. I remember when I saw the first Transformers movie and thinking to myself "If they can make robots like this, they should do a Voltron movie soon."  Sadly, I will still have to wait a few more years until a Voltron movie is made, but Pacific Rim is pretty close to reliving those old robot cartoon adventures.
