Relive the adventures in The Legend of Korra The Complete Series Blu-ray Collection

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with a review copy of The Legend of Korra: The Complete Series in exchange for a review. All thoughts, opinions, and wishes to be a "Bender" are our own.

The Legend of Korra was a series that I did not initially see when it aired. I remember seeing images of the characters here and there but I did not sit down and watch the series. Being home a lot during the pandemic I started watching shows on streaming services that I have never seen and one of them was The Legend of Korra. Let me tell you something from the first episode I was hooked.

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with a review copy of Promising Young Woman in exchange for a giveaway. All thoughts, opinions, & heavy conversations are our own.

We are lucky to review a lot of family movies on Fandads and as much as we love watching the same animated animals over and over sometimes we want something that doesn't have a singing/talking animal. Luckily, our friends over at Universal Pictures sent us a review copy of Promising Young Woman and it was amazing.

Getting Weird With Spies In Disguise

When I was younger I was the kid that would get lost in his own world with comics and video games. While I did have a lot of friends, I always felt like the outsider of the group. Growing up I've always had that feeling and even today I still feel like an outsider sometimes. I think that is why Spies in Disguise really connected with me.

Go Into the Unknown with Frozen 2 UPDATED

Disclaimer: The Fandads received a review copy and digital copies to giveaway in exchange for coverage of the home release of Frozen 2. All thoughts, opinions, and journey in the unknown are our own.

When Frozen 2 was announced we were excited and worried. Excited because we were going to see these strong female characters again but worried because how were they going to top the first one. With the 6 year gap between both movies, I was not sure if my children still wanted to return to Arendelle. Luckily, when we finally saw the movie we all had a great time.

Time to get creepy & kooky with The Addams Family

Growing up, I remember watching The Addams Family on television. I remember loving the craziness of each episode and wanting to visit the Addams. During grad school, the live-action movies came out and I loved the transition from the small to the big screen. The zaniness was there and the actors they chose to play were perfect.

When the newest version of the Addams family came out on the big screen I took my children to see it and we enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that I'll tip my hat to it (if you see the movie, you might get that joke). Read about the upcoming home release and how you can win a copy for your family.

Make way for The Peanut Butter Falcon

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with a review copy of The Peanut Butter Falcon for this post. All thoughts, opinions, and attempted wrestling moves are our own.

There is a scene in The Peanut Butter Falcon where Shia LeBeouf's character is talking to Zach Gottsagen about good guys and bad guys. Zach thinks he is a bad guy and that he can not be a hero because he has Downs Syndrome, but Shia's character Tyler tells him. "What's that have to do with your heart? You have a good guy heart." This might seem like just a conversation between two "road dogs" on the run, but it shows that Tyler doesn't see Zach as a Downs Syndrome person, he sees him as a person.

Time to get scared at home with Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark

When I was a child, I read the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark series and regretted reading them at night because I could not sleep. As much as I loved reading these stories, they were scary as hell and the covers of the books made them that more scary to read.

Visit Uglyville with the UglyDolls

Disclaimer: The Fandads received a review copy of the movie UglyDolls in exchange for hosting the giveaway. All thought, opinions, and

UglyDolls is another movie that we never got a chance to see at the theaters. Why the reviews on the movie varied, it is still a good movie for younger children to see about being who they are and loving themselves. While older children might roll their eyes at how the movie portrays this message, this will be a fun movie to watch with the family on a summer night.

Fly away with Dumbo! #giveaway

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with a review copy of Dumbo and digital codes to giveaway in exchange for promoting the home release of Dumbo. All words, thoughts, and thoughts of joining the circus are our own.

When the first trailer for the live-action Dumbo came out and they played the "Baby of Mine" song I started tearing up. That moment in the original cartoon was always so heartfelt and beautiful that you had to feel something. How will I react to seeing this scene in the movie? Will it hit me the same way or will it not? With the home release of Dumbo those questions will be answered or maybe not.
