This is my son's birthday week and it has been about one month since we have been quarantined due to the coronavirus. It's interesting seeing all the ways families are celebrating birthdays in these times and what we are doing with this new normal. Reminiscing about the First Star Wars Celebration
With Star War Celebration coming up this week in Chicago, I wanted to reminisce about going to the first Star Wars Celebration in Denver April 30 - May 2, 1999 with an old friend of mine, Sean. This was the first time I ever took a trip on my own and I was excited to attend this first event that was everything Star Wars.

May the Force be with us! A look at what's to come from ROGUE ONE.
If you were living in a bubble this weekend or too busy playing Pokémon Go, you might have missed out on some MAJOR Star Wars news revealed at Star Wars Celebration Europe. During the ROGUE ONE: A Star Wars Story panel, the poster for the movie was released to the public. The poster shows a battle taking place on the beach with the Death Star ominously looming in the background. But, that is not all the news that was announced.

"The Force will be with you, always" #30DaysofStarWarsShirts Day 30
So here we are at the final shirt and I decided to end it at the beginning of the prequel trilogy. As you can tell from the shirt, I bought this at the first Star Wars Celebration in Denver. This was a great time with one of my best friends, but it also a very somber one.
