Black Ops 2 Leaked & A New Fighter from Sony.
It seems like the rumors of Black Ops 2 are true after a leaked photo of pre-order cards from Target appeared online. IGN broke the story and now we just have to wait for the official announcement on May 2.
In other news that I'm excited about, last night on Gametrailers TV they announced a new fighting game from Sony: PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale. This is going to be a fighting game in the vein of Super Smash Brothers Melee, but obviously with PS3 characters.
So far, only a handful of characters have been announced: Kratos, Parappa, Sweet Tooth, Sly Cooper and Fat Princess to name a few. According to the interview last night on GT.TV, 3rd party characters are going to be in the game, but will not be announced until E3 later this year. The game is scheduled to come out this holiday season and I am pretty excited about this one. Check out the video from the official PlayStation Blog and tell us what you think.
One of the coolest things in the game is that one of the stages is a Little Big Planet level that is being created while the characters fight. This game seems like it's going to be fun to play.

Star Wars; The Phantom Menace in 3D. Will Meesa Like?
Anyone that knows me knows that I am a huge Star Wars fan and I am a little excited to see these, but I do have my reservations about the new 3D conversions coming out. While there are some cool scenes in Phantom Menace that would be great in 3D, I'm not so sure how the rest of the movie will play out. Needless to say, I will go see this at the theaters when it's released next year. The one cool thing about the re-release is that now I can bring my little girl with me to see Star Wars at the theaters. Are you excited for the 3D release or going to see this version?

Welcome back Sony! A fandads take on the fiasco.
Ok, the PlayStation Network was down for 24 days. 24 Days! To some that seems like an eternity, for me it was more of an annoyance than anything. The network was taken down due to some "security issues" then promises were made, information was compromised and dates for the network to be up and running again came and went. I know that there is more to this story, but I'm just giving you the abridged version. What was a fandad to do?

Dead Island Teaser Trailer!!
If you tell me zombies, I'm there. It doesn't matter what the context is, throw in zombies and it just gets a hell of a lot better. Dead Island is, by it's developer, Techland, called a "first-person zombie-slasher/action RPG." All that is know about the game so far it that it takes place on a vacation resort, you play as a preselected character and you skills increase as the game proceeds. IGN has more videos and screen shots of the game so check out their story when you can.
Below is the first announcement trailer for the game and all I can say is that the slow piano playing in the background really creates a eerie and tense mood. Watch it and tells us what you think, also check out their Facebook page for more info.

C2E2 10: Star Wars BDs in the Works - Blu-ray News at IGN
Star Wars saga coming out on Blu-ray was announced today at C2E2 during the "Celebrating Star Wars" panel. This is something that a lot of us have been waiting for and hopefully Lucas doesn't skimp out on the extra content. IGN has the official statement from Lucasfilm Director of Fan Relations Steve Sansweet.
Maybe we'll finally see the sandstorm footage, Threepio removing the warning sign from the door on Hoth (shown in the original tralier at the 1:31mark), Anakin beating up little Greedo and a Jar Jar less Menace (I know this one won't happen, but I can wish). Until them, read the article below and let the conversations amd criticisms begin.
