The many faces of my little girl.
My little girl is a character. She makes me laugh, cry and feel incredibly happy all within a matter of minutes. One thing that she likes doing, sometimes, is taking pictures.

Fandad's Short Take "A Day at the Zoo"
As the Merry-Go-Round was moving I let go of the bar of the animal next to me to hold on to the giraffe my little girl was on. She looked at me and told me to not let go of the bar because she did not want me to fall off. She next said that she didn't want me to get hurt because I was her "brave friend, my best friend and I love you and we won't have fun together if you're hurt." I gave her a kiss on the forehead as my eyes teared up and told her I love her too. I held on to that bar as we rode around and around and we both waved happily to my wife when we saw her standing on the side with our little man.
Kids say the damnedest things sometimes.
Thanks for reading,
Victor

Push it to the Limit!
I hope that title has gotten the song "Push it to the Limit" by Paul Engemann in your head right about now. If you don't remember that song, think of the montage scene in Scarface with all the money laundering, the wedding and the tiger. Ok, do you have the song in your head now? Good, let's go!

National Daddy Daughter Tea Date
| Cheers! |
National Daddy Daughter Tea Date was started by Tshaka Armstrong in 2010 as a way to, according to the Facebook page, "Encourage men to strengthen the bond with their daughters. See fewer daughters fall prey to problems associated with low self-worth."
| My view of our tea date. |
I think this is a great event and not only does this help strengthen the bond between a father and daughter, but it could become one of those rituals that fathers and daughters can look forward to every year.
Hopefully, next year there will be a few events in the Chicago area where fathers and daughters can go to celebrate and who knows, maybe Fandads will host an event one year.
If you would like more information on National Daddy Daughter Tea Date visit and "like" their Facebook page and help spread the word.
