Last year there were so many great movies that came out at the theaters and sadly we were not able to see them all. One movie that I wished that we saw in the theaters was The Nutcracker and The Four Realms. This was an amazing movie filled with fantastic images that would require multiple viewings. Now you can re-watch this Disney hit over and over again since it was just released this past Tuesday.

Get Ready for a Fun Adventure with The Kid Who Would Be King
From the first time I saw the trailer to "The Kid Who Would Be King", I instantly thought of "The Goonies", "Explorers", and "E.T.". What I have been hearing from early reviews is that this movie is a lot of fun and great for the entire family.

The Shape Comes Home Again
Halloween is one of those horror movies that I watch every time I see it on the television. I remember watching it when I was younger and just being scared everytime Micheal Myers appeared on the screen. While I never got the chance to see the latest Halloween movie, I can now watch it as it comes home today, January 15th.
Are you ready to be scared again with Goosebumps 2?
The first Goosebumps movie was a fun way to see what happens when most of the characters from the Goosebumps stories come to life. It was cool to see them on the screen, but it was also a little scary to see them live, I'm talking to you Slappy! Get ready to get scared again on January 15th.

Get Ready to Bring Home the Grinch
It seems like the Grinch has been everywhere this winter season in Chicago. He graced the stage of the Chicago Theater in November and was on the big screen at our local theaters. While we did not get a chance to see him on the big screen, we will get the chance to see him on the small screen when Dr. Seuss' The Grinch comes home digitally on January 22 and physically on Feb 5.

Walk on the Moon with First Man
Disclaimer: The Fandads received a review copy of First Man in exchange for promoting the home release of the movie and product to host a giveaway. All thoughts, opinions, and claustrophobic moments are our own.
Imagine sitting in an experimental rocket and hearing all of the nuts and bolts creak and jiggle as you are shooting into space. That feeling of claustrophobia hitting you as you realize how tight the quarters are for you and your fellow astronauts. Damien Chazelle's First Man makes you feel like you are in all of these scenes in the amazing story of Neil Armstrong's trip to the moon.

Let's Not Make This a Yearly Thing, please!
A few weeks into 2018 my son had a seizure. We did not know it was a seizure at the moment and we spent the day in the ER having all sort of tests and bloodwork done on him. Although it was an interesting way to start the new year, we decided that we were going to make the best of 2018 and not let his condition prevent us from having a great year.
Well, here we are at the beginning of 2019 and we made another trip to the ER and my son has been admitted. This time we stayed overnight and are looking at another night at the hospital. Before I get ahead of myself, let me start at the beginning.
LEGO Movie 2 Welcome to Apocalypseburg Set is Awesome!
Yesterday was a fun day at the Fandads household because we received the new LEGO catalog with the latest sets coming out in January. While my children and I were excited for all of the new Star Wars sets, Darth Vader's Castle, we also were excited to see all of the set for the new LEGO 2 movie. Little did we know that not all of the sets were on display in the catalog. There was one more that not listed or shown...until now!
