Riding to school with the Hover-1 Journey Electric Scooter #AD

The school year has begun and you know what that means; my children and I start enjoying our 3.5 block walk to school. The walks in the morning are great because we talk about everything and nothing. We'll chat about a movie or television show they saw, what they are looking forward to in their day, or what they want to eat for dinner at night. While we enjoy our leisurely strolls to school it is not like that every day. 

Some mornings we are running late and have to rush out the door to get to school on time. If I drive to school the one issue we have is finding parking and walking them to their doors. With this small lightweight scooter (only weighs 27 pounds) we could zip through the streets and alleys to get to school on time.

Riding these scooters will make our walk a lot faster because the scooter can reach speeds of up to 14 mph. Now when riding scooters like this we have to make sure we ride responsibly* and have the proper safety gear on. While the price point might be a little too high for most, you can visit Best Buy to see their vast selection of electric scooters, electric bikes, and boards. I think we might ask Santa for one of these to run short errands or just cruise around the neighborhood.
