Having A Blast with the Chicago Dogs

Disclaimer: The Fandads were invited to attend the Chicago Dogs game for this post. All thoughts, opinions, and good times had are our own.

Baseball season is in full swing and it is always a great way for families to spend time together. With the local teams in the city, it can be a little costly to attend one of those games. Especially if you are a family of four with two children that like to eat a lot, you have to find an alternative to the big league games. While the big league games are pretty fun to attend the real action is at the minor league games like the Chicago Dogs. Last weekend the Fandads were invited to attend a Chicago Dogs game and it was a great time for our family.

Are You Ready for the Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit?

Disclaimer: The Fandads worked with The Rock Father and Nintendo to attend the pre-launch of the Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit in New York in exchange for a review. All thoughts, opinions, and joy from playing with the kit are our own.

A few weeks ago my daughter and I were lucky enough to attend a pre-launch event for the new Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit thanks to The Rock Father (Read our coverage here). While we had a lot of fun driving, flying, and diving with our on-screen vehicle, you will have your chance to try out these new vehicles in two weeks. Yes, friends, the Nintendo Labo Vehicle Kit will be available on September 14th!

Oh the Fun we Had at the Chicago Toy & Game Fair.

(Disclaimer: The Fandads received complementary passes for these events. All thought, opinions and good times we had are out own.)

Last year the Fandads were invited to the Chicago Toy & Game Fair and here is our recap of the fun we had there.

Chicago Toy and Game week is one of our favorite times of the year and we have written about it numerous times. I mean, how many times can you go to an event and play with all of the toys that you see there? It's like Christmas morning, except there is no clean up to do after you play with the toys. So what did the Fandads play with this year? What toys stood out to us? Keep reading to find out.

Wizard World invades Chicago Part 1

(Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with a press pass by Wizard World for the weekend, all words and opinions are our own.)

Wizard World Chicago 2015 has come and gone and it was a pretty good con this year.  Like with many cons there were a few hiccups here and there, but Wizard World was a fun time for this fan.

"A long time ago....." #30DaysofStarWarsShirts Day 20

When I first saw those words on the screen many moons ago I remember thinking that I wanted to live in that universe.  Those words changed how I saw movies and changed my life too.

Battroborg to The Death...or At Least Close to It.

On Thursday September 10th, a group of Chicago Dad Bloggers got together for one night of brutal and senseless violence....by settling the score at the #Battroborgs #gametruck event.  "What are BattroBorgs?" you may be asking.  Remember the old "Rock 'em, Sock 'em Robots?  Do we got that image yet? Ok, now toss that image aside because BattroBorg is the next generation of fighting robots.
