Let's Roll Out with the new Transformers: Robots in Disguise DVD. Mini Review and Giveaway

I remember running home after school to watch the Transformers on the television.  There was something about seeing these robots turn into cars, planes and even weapons that just captured my attention for the half hour that they were on.  Transformers was so different than anything else on television, that it's no surprise that it is still on the air.  The cool thing is that the story just keeps growing.

The latest incarnation of the series finds Bumblebee was the leader of the Autobots and follows him as he tries to fill some big shoes.  The first five episodes of the series have just been released on DVD and they are a lot of fun to watch.

I watched this series with my daughter. She has never seen any of the cartoons, and she liked watching it with me. Although she had a lot of questions about why certain characters were not around, it was fun to explain to her why this series is the way it is. (Yes, I know I am being vague, but I don't want to giveaway too much).

I loved the style of the animation on this series.  It looks so simple but it is very vibrant and pops off the screen at you.  I think that was one of the reasons that it appealed to my daughter. My son just liked looking at the characters running around on the screen and grabbing his Transformer toys and mimicking what he was seeing on the television. 

I can not wait to see where this series goes and what other adventures Bumblebee will go on and if he will realize his potential. If you are a fan of Transformers check out this series on DVD or enter our contest after the quick synopsis below.

Synopsis:

The new mission begins as BUMBLEBEE must step up to be leader in the years after we left the AUTOBOTS in TRANSFORMERS PRIME. Summoned by OPTIMUS PRIME to save Earth from a new DECEPTICON threat, BUMBLEBEE puts his light-hearted mettle to the test after assembling a rouge team of AUTOBOTS action heroes. BUMBLEBEE must balance his job fighting off evil with being equal parts squad leader and coach to a rascally team that needs constant coaxing to learn how to work together. The results are comical when the cool rebel SIDESWIPE, elite guard cadet STRONGARM, bombastic dinobot GRIMLOCK and overly-excited mini-con FIXIT must balance keeping the team together with chasing and capturing their new enemies in each adventure-filled episode.
