Avengers: Endgame Mini-Review and Our Favorite Moments

Marvel Studio's Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of 21 Marvel movies all leading to the 22nd that wraps up the Infinity Stone Saga. Now while we are hoping many of our readers have seen the movie by now, we know that this may not be the case. We have a mini non-spoiler review for those that have yet to see the movie, and for those that have seen the movie, Gil and I list our favorite moments.

New Avengers: Infinity War Posters Released

Yesterday, Marvel Studios releases some pretty amazing posters for their upcoming Marvel Studios' Avengers: Infinity War. Each of the posters is composed of "teams" that will work together in the movie or at least have some epic moments together. Spider-Man: Homecoming Trailer

When I first found out that Spider-Man was going to be in Captain America: Civil War, I got really excited. I mean, Spider-Man has been one of my favorite superheroes since I was little and to see him again on the big screen with the rest of the Marvel Cinematic Universe was just mind-blowing. It was great to see how they captured his humor and quirkiness in the few scenes that he was in and knowing that they were going to make a new movie with this version of Peter Parker was also intriguing.

Breaking down the CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR trailer

Last weekend the latest trailer for CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR was released and it contained a lot to take in all at once. So after rewatching it a few hundred times, there are a few scenes that we want to point out and talk about.

There was a point in my life when I stopped reading comics. I know right, blasphemy, but it started to become a little overwhelming. With so many mutant titles coming out every week and the Spider-Man series getting a little too ridiculous for me, I mean his parents were alive and might have been clones? Come on Spidey, what are you doing?

Learning about Life with #PlayskoolHeroes

When I was younger my babysitter would always have a stack of comics waiting for me when I was dropped off by my parents in the mornings.  Those comics were my escape. I would sit there and get lost with super heroes that would later become my favorite friends.  Since I was the youngest in my family, I was always too small to hang out with my sisters and cousins, so I just read my comics and joined my "friends" on new adventures.

Chicago Fans Unite! Marvel Universe Live is coming to Chicago!

When I first got the flyer to the Marvel Universe Live show I almost lost it. I became so excited that I could not wait for it to arrive in Chicago and guess what my friends, that time is almost here.

Yes, the Marvel Universe Live show will be coming to Chicago in September. It will be arriving at the United Center first on September 10-13 and then move to the Allstate Arena on September 18-20.

This live show will have everything for the Marvel fans and looks to be a spectacular showcase of stunts, special effects and amazing fight choreography. Where else can you see Spider-Man, Captain America, Black Widow and Iron Man all on the same stage saving the universe?  This looks to be a fantastic show.

If you have not done so yet, you should purchase your tickets quickly through TicketMaster, because this show looks so incredible and I have been hearing great things from friends that have seen it in other cities. Ticket prices range from $45 up to $150 and they are going fast, so buy yours today.

If you have been following Fandads for a while now, you know that we are fans of subscription boxes.  While we had to trim down on the boxes due to financial reasons, we just got notice of a new box that we think is going to be a great addition to the other boxes out there and one that we will sign up for.  Funko just announced the Marvel Collector Corps subscription boxes.

I have been collecting action figures since I was about five years old.  It started when my parents bought me my first Star Wars figures and it grew from there.  As I got older and starting buying my own figures, I noticed an evolution in my collecting. I went from buying Star Wars figures to comic book characters to prop replicas to statues.  Which leads me to today and these incredible Hot Toys figures.

Iron Man 3 Toy Reviews.

To celebrate the release of Iron Man 3, we here at Fandads would like to tell you about some cool toys we received from Hasbro to review.  Just by looking at the picture above, you can see the awesomeness that was sent to us.  Now, this is not a paid posts so the opinions are our own. 

What's Going on with The Fandad?

Sometimes our everyday life grabs a hold of us and doesn't let go.  This is the situation here with the Fandads.  While we are trying to keep the site updated and tease a few posts we are working on here and there, life comes around and kicks us in the behind and puts everything on hold.  So what is going on with the Fandads, well he is a quick run down.

Thor: The Dark World Trailer

As I mentioned before on here, Spider-Man was my favorite Marvel character and I would pick up other books randomly.  I never bought a Thor book, but I was aware of him by cross-overs and other guest appearances.  I wasn't expecting much from the first movie, but I liked the story and his introduction to those that may have not known about him.  While the movie wasn't the best from the Phase 1 series, it did establish his role in the universe and I think the Avengers movie made people go back and give his stand alone movie another viewing.

With Thor: The Dark World coming to theaters this fall (November 8, 2013) I think we will see a bigger world than was shown previously and maybe get a better story this time around.  What the trailer below and share your opinions with us.

We know he's part of The Avengers, but does he really get the same amount of the respect that the other members do? 

Iron Man 3 Trailer is up!!

The new trailer for Iron Man 3 is up and it looks amazing and dark.  Could this be Iron Man's Empire Strikes Back? Are they going with the "Extremis" storyline? How much of War machine will we see?  Will any of the Avengers make any cameos?  Many questions pop up, but we have to wait until May 2013 to get all the answers.  Enjoy the trailer and leave your thoughts below.

New Avengers Banners!

One movie coming out next year, that we can not wait for is The Avengers.  This week we saw the release of two banners that showcase the main characters of the movie.  Take a look and tell us what you think.

The Avengers Trailer is UP!!

We have been waiting for this for a while and it's finally here!  I can not wait to see this and with Joss Whedon behind the writing and camera, this might be the superhero movie we have been asking for. The Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012.

Avengers Assembled

Over the weekend at comic con Marvel unveiled new posters for the Avengers movie coming out next May. These posters show each Avenger in an action pose, some with new costumes, but when placed together they form a cool team shot. What are you thoughts?
