HALO to hit the raceways and your television soon.

With the release of HALO 5: GUARDIANS later this month, October 27th, the marketing for this game is going to be coming at you in full force.  The latest trailer was released earlier this week to whet your appetite, but now get ready to see HALO on the racetrack and on your televisions...in animated form.

On The Racetrack

If you love fast cars and HALO then you have to pay attention to Kansas Speedway on October 18th. Here's why:

Xbox and 343 Industries are partnering with Hendrick Motorsports and Chip Ganassi Racing with Felix Sabates to bring Halo 5: Guardians to life with two Halo-branded NASCAR paint schemes. Driving the Master Chief and Spartan Locke vehicles, respectively, two of NASCAR’s most popular drivers, Dale Earnhardt Jr. (No. 88) and Jamie McMurray (No. 1), take Kansas Speedway by storm on Oct. 18, in their proverbial hunt for the win!




Additionally, starting Oct. 8, fans can join the #HUNTthe88 and #HUNTthe1 Twitter scavenger hunt sweepstakes to uncover the Halo 5: Guardian’s inspired paint schemes. Earnhardt (@DaleJr) and McMurray (@jamiemcmurray) will tweet a clue to the first piece of the puzzle as they encourage fans to help them find their newly painted rides. Ten sweepstakes participants will be chosen at random and receive an Xbox One and autographed copy of Halo 5: Guardians. Two lucky winners of the sweepstakes will be flown into Kansas City to attend the Hollywood Casino 400 from Oct. 16-18 where they’ll receive VIP tickets to the race and a chance to meet with Earnhardt or McMurray.

On Your Television

Just announced today is the animated movie tie-in to HALO 5 with the trailer for HALO: The Fall of Reach.  This animated series will be told in three connected acts and will be available with HALO 5: Guardians Digital Deluxe Edition, Limited Edition, Limited Collector's Edition and Halo 5: Guardians Limited Edition Xbox One console. It can be also be viewed via the HALO Channel when the game launches on October 27.
