One of the shows that have become a regular in our household is The Loud House. If you have not seen it the show revolves around the Loud family and their multitude of children. Think of "8 is Enough" but in an animated format (If you are unfamiliar with that reference Google it when you have a chance). The Legend of Korra was a series that I did not initially see when it aired. I remember seeing images of the characters here and there but I did not sit down and watch the series. Being home a lot during the pandemic I started watching shows on streaming services that I have never seen and one of them was The Legend of Korra. Let me tell you something from the first episode I was hooked.

Late last year we were able to view The Croods: A New Age from home and we enjoyed it. My children and I watched the first movie to catch up with the characters and we had a good time following the Croods on their new adventure. With the Digital release available today we can not wait to go back and also see what cool new behind the scene features are available.
We have praised our love regarding the new version of Blue's Clues & You and this latest DVD is right up to par with the last release. This show is so much fun to watch with your children! While my daughter finds herself to be a little too old o watch this, I do catch her humming the songs to herself every now and then. Grab some popcorn. Get a microphone and tune-up that singing voice to have fun at Blue's Sing-Along spectacular!
The Casagrandes has been one of our favorite new shows that is on Nickelodeon right now. We love seeing the adventures of the family and the fact that we can relate to some of the characters make it that more special. It is not often that you see a Hispanic family on television and to have a cartoon series all to themselves. The show has a lot to offer and is a must-watch for any family. If you are a frequent reader of our site, you know that we are fans of Paw Patrol. Not only are we fans of the show but also fans or the theme song. That song gets us excited and we can not wait to see what adventures the crew would get into. (Parents, if you have a workout playlist, you need to add that song.) Every episode has a great lesson and they are a lot of fun to watch.
SpongeBob Squarepants has become a weekend staple in our household on Saturdays. My son and I watch a few episodes together before getting on with whatever errands need to be done for the day. I used to watch SpongeBob before kids and now I watch it with my kids. It's pretty cool how these things happen.
Friends, the holidays are going to look a lot different this year but we hope to bring back some normalcy with our annual Holiday Gift Guide. This year our focus is on gifts for inside the home and can be played by the entire family. We know it's been a rough year but hopefully, these ideas will bring some joy to those in your lives. Thanks to streaming services, we just started watching The Legend of Korra and it is a fantastic show. From the writing, the animation, and the lessons in each episode, this is a show I wished I watched when it was originally released. Coming out next year is the complete series on Blu-Ray and it comes in a great collectors case with amazing artwork for each Book. Check out more about this great series below.
We have mentioned before on here how we love watching Spongebob Squarepants with our children. It is always great to share things from our past with them and enjoy the new episodes with them. The original Croods came out in 2013. While I did not see the movie when it originally released I did watch it online with my chldren a few times and thought it was a fun movie. It was good for what it was: an escape movie. Now we are in 2020 and The Croods: A New Age is being released into the theaters. What new adventures will the family get into? Let's find out.
