Disclaimer: The Fandads were compensated and received the product for this review. All thoughts, opinions, and epic wrestling/karate matches are our own.

Friends, being home all day with your children sometimes gets frustrating. You see the energy building up inside of them and don't really want them to go outside on their own for their safety. So what are you to do? Well, if you have some space in your house you can let your children let off their energy by having wrestling/karate matches with Wubble Rumblers!

Scary Movies to Tell in the Dark provides great scares for the family.

Disclaimer: The Fandads received a review copy in exchange for a review of Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark. All thoughts, opinions, and sleepless nights are our own.

I think I am not the only one that grew up reading the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz. I remember reading those stories and legitimately being scared to enter a dark room because I thought characters from the stories will be waiting for me in the corners. As I got older and read the other two books in the series, my love for being scared by them grew and when I found out they were going to make a movie, I was beyond thrilled.

Dad jokes make the world go round! #sponsored

Disclaimer: The Fandads have teamed up with Laffy Taffy for this post. All thoughts, opinions, and, corny fantastic jokes are our own.

You see the picture above? You see how sad and unhappy the children look? The reason for this look is that these children have not heard a good dad joke in a few hours. Yeah, Dad jokes get a bad rap, but when told at the right time, it can either make your children laugh or cringe and walk away from you. Now, if you fancy yourself a master of dad jokes we have a contest for you from our friends at Laffy Taffy.

How do you define aging? #DadsDisruptAging

Disclaimer: The following post is sponsored by Disrupt Aging from AARP. All thoughts, opinions and body pains are my own.

Have you ever thought about why you do the things you do? For me, it's trying to be athletic and show my children how athletic I am, but that has not always been the story. I was never much of an athlete when I was younger. I ran around with my friends playing games like freeze tag, and hide-n-seek, but never anything too strenuous. When I went to high school, I joined a few teams, but not being physically fit, my high school athletic career did not advance at all. After graduation, I started thinking that I passed my prime. I passed my time to be fit and to be athletic, but all that changed when I had my daughter.

The First Purge arrives on Digital Download

Disclaimer: Our friends at Allied Chicago are providing the Fandads with giveaway copies of The First Purge in exchange for promotion of the home release of the movie.

It seems that every new Purge movie that comes out keeps getting more and more intense. I mean, just the thought that people can literally do anything they want for one night it not only scary but also insane. I do not know what I would do in this situation. I know I will do all I can to protect my family, but it is just strange thinking that something like this could ever happen in today's society. Coming out today on Digital Download is the fourth entry in the Purge series: The First Purge.

A Wrinkle in Time Home Release review and Giveaway

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with a review copy of A Wrinkle in Time along with copies to giveaway. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

When I was in elementary school I remember having to do book reports throughout the year. As much as I loved reading, I remember reading the same books over and over and writing about them for my teacher. One of the books that I remember having a hard time reading was A Wrinkle in Time. Yeah, being a science fiction geek you would figure I would have devoured this book, but there was just something about it that made it hard for me to completely finish. When I finally finished the book I was kicking myself for not having done it sooner and when I heard that it was coming out in the theaters, I got excited about it.

Fly home with Peter Pan! #giveaway

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with a review copy of Peter Pan: The Signature Collection along with Digital HD copies to giveaway. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

As a parent, you always want to share things you loved growing up with your children. It can be something as simple as your favorite song, your favorite television show or your favorite movie. You just want to see if your child reacts to it the same way you did and then shares the love that you have for it. In the case of Peter Pan, I remember the first time my daughter saw it. She loved the songs, the big flying sequence and especially one particular character...Captain Hook. Yep, my daughter fell for the villain.

Hanging out with our Old Friend Luke

Disclaimer: The Fandads were provided with an advance copy of Star Wars: The Last Jedi along with promotional materials in exchange to host a Star Wars event. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

We all have those friends that we grew up with. You know the ones: the ones that were always there for us when times were bad, the friends that would cheer us up when we were having rough days and the ones that we had awesome adventures with. Our childhood friends really helped us become the person that we are today. The one thing about our childhood friends though is that as we grow up they change and sometimes we don't like the person that they have become.

Viewing Vacation Pictures on my Television with the Amazon Fire TV #sponsored

Disclosure: The Fandads were provided with an Amazon Fire TV Stick for this post. Thanks to Amazon for sponsoring this post. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

When I was younger, I would remember friends wanting to show me pictures of what they did on their summer vacations. I remember it being either an exciting thing or a tedious thing. Depending on where they went it was fun to look at their pictures, but imagine 4 or 5 people huddled around a photo album looking at printed pictures of different sizes. Come to think of it now, it wasn't that much fun to do.

Learn about the Science of Speed with Acceleration Nation by NASCAR

Disclaimer: The Fandads were compensated for this post to talk about the new NASCAR Acceleration Nation App. All thoughts and opinions are our own.

Since watching the Cars movies with my children they know a little about NASCAR and motorsports, but they never really learned much about the science of racing. What does a blue flag with a diagonal yellow stripe mean? What is the difference between "downforce" and "drag"?

If you have your children asking you questions like this then you need to download the new Acceleration Nation app by NASCAR. The website and app, which is available on Android and iPhone, features fun games, info on races, details on cars, and learning materials about the science of racing!

Now Russell Athletic has released their new FreshForce™ Performance underwear and what better way for this dadlete to try these out than by running a half marathon with them on? So how did this turn out? Keep reading to see what happened.

What does it take to be the #KingOfSoup #Sponsored

Disclaimer: I have partnered with Life of Dad and Idahoan® Foods for this campaign, but my opinions, dirty dishes, and a full stomach are all my own.

I remember in the early 2000's BC (Before Children), my wife and I would spend countless nights eating dinner at nice, not too fancy, restaurants and enjoying our meals at our own pace. We would talk about the state of the world and life in general. Who am I kidding, I was probably rambling on and on about some comic books I read and she was probably just being nice and listening to me. You know, good conversation.

All that changed once our first child was born. When she was a baby it was all candy and glitter as she slept in her car seat and we enjoyed our meal. If she started getting antsy, we would give her a bottle or her pacifier and all would be golden.  As she got older, things started to change. Fussiness would become crying and crying would lead to tantrums. It would get to the point that we would have to rush sometimes and our nice long dinners turned into asking for to-go containers once our food arrived.

Creating a new routine to #ElevateTheSeason. #Sponsored

(Disclaimer: The Fandads were compensated with product and payment for our review of BulletProof Coffee. All words and opinions are our own.)

It's kind of ironic that in this month, the month of December, when children everywhere are eagerly anticipating Santa Claus to arrive with presents for them, I was the one that was eagerly awaiting a package from our friends at Bulletproof Coffee to arrive for me. Yes, I was looking out the window every time I would see the mail carrier, FedEx or UPS truck pull up to the front door wishing that today would be the day. After a few more days of grueling anticipation, it finally arrived.

Hey friends, have you ever been in either of these situations: 1. You are invited to a party and on the way there you forget to buy drinks for the host or 2. You are having a lot of fun at your party and the beer runs out, but you do not want to do a beer run for fear of missing out on the fun that you and your guest are having.

If these situations sound familiar, then you need to download the Drizly app before your next party. Let me tell you how this app came in handy and how easy it was to use.

Gaining strength with DC SUPER HERO GIRLS! #Giveaway

When I was younger, cartoons were a big part of my life.  They were my escape from reality and also helped me to get through some tough times in my life.  As I got older I started to understand the depth of these cartoons. I started seeing everyday situations and problems being played out in cartoon format and realizing that these lessons were universal; that we all had "super powers" that could help us in our everyday life.

Escaping with our imagination and Yo-Kai Watch #ad

I remember when I was in elementary school I would start counting down the minutes until I got to go home once my lunch period was over. I mean I did pay attention to my teachers, don't get me wrong, but my mind was already on the gathering after school. Maybe there was some type of ghosts controlling my mind during these times.

Once the last bell would ring, I would race home with a few of my friends and depending on whose house we would go to, we would all sit around the television and watch the latest episode of our favorite cartoon series. We would all just sit there quietly focused on the screen in front of us and every now and then laugh or groan in unison as to what we just witnessed on the screen. Again, I think there could have been some type of celestial beings watching over us and making us all feel the same feelings during those moments.

Enjoying the Holidays with Pepto-Bismol. #PinkRelief

When I was younger I would eat a lot, I mean a lot.  I would always get double burgers or eat two burgers with a large drink and fries. I was sort of active with work and taking a martial arts class, so I never really had any stomach problems with eating all of this food. I would burn all of it off within a few classes...or so I thought.

As I got older things started to change. My eating habits were not as lavish and I would occasionally develop heartburn because of some of my food choices. Luckily, I would get help for my upset stomach with my new friend Pepto-Bismol. Pepto-Bismol became a regular staple in my refrigerator.

Great pictures with GoPro Cameras #GoProatBestBuy @BestBuy #Sponsored

If you are a regular reader of our blog, you know that I am trying to be a healthy role model for my children and I do a lot of runs and obstacle course races.  The picture above is from my last run, but I only was able to take a before and after picture.  Imagine the kind of pictures I would be able to take if I had a GoPro camera attached to me while running.  I think those pictures would be pretty awesome.
