The Adventure Continues, #ThanksBaby
Disclosure: The Fandads have partnered with Life of Dad and Pampers for this promotion.
Remember those mornings when you would just wake up and not want to get out of bed? There have been many times in my past that I would wish that the days would just fly by. A lot of the times I would not want to get out of bed, but I knew that I had classes to attend and a job to go to, so I did it. I would go through those monotonous days and just feel like this is what my life was going to be. To quote Aesop Rock "Wake, Work, Sleep" and that is not what I wanted for my life.

Getting the sleep I need thanks to the Beautyrest #SleepTracker monitor.
Disclaimer: The Fandads have teamed up with Life of Dad and Beautyrest for this campaign. All thoughts, opinions and good night sleep are our own.
Parents, remember the good old days when you really did not care about sleep? Those days where you used to go out all night with your friends and sleep in the next day until the afternoon?
How many of us wish we had all those missed sleep opportunities back? I, for one, wish I could sleep again like I used to in my pre-children days. It's not that I don't sleep enough, it's just that I think I need healthier habits for my sleep routine.

What does it take to be the #KingOfSoup #Sponsored
Disclaimer: I have partnered with Life of Dad and Idahoan® Foods for this campaign, but my opinions, dirty dishes, and a full stomach are all my own.
I remember in the early 2000's BC (Before Children), my wife and I would spend countless nights eating dinner at nice, not too fancy, restaurants and enjoying our meals at our own pace. We would talk about the state of the world and life in general. Who am I kidding, I was probably rambling on and on about some comic books I read and she was probably just being nice and listening to me. You know, good conversation.
All that changed once our first child was born. When she was a baby it was all candy and glitter as she slept in her car seat and we enjoyed our meal. If she started getting antsy, we would give her a bottle or her pacifier and all would be golden. As she got older, things started to change. Fussiness would become crying and crying would lead to tantrums. It would get to the point that we would have to rush sometimes and our nice long dinners turned into asking for to-go containers once our food arrived.

#ThanksBaby for making me who I am today.
Disclosure: I have partnered with Life of Dad and Pampers promotion.
In the picture above a lot of things are going through my head: "Don't drop her!" "Is this mask scaring you?" "Do you know what it means to be scared?" and "What is going to happen now?" Although all of this was going through my head, the main thing on my mind was relief.

Exercising with khakis? Yeah, it can happen.
Everyone is always trying to find that level of comfortability. As a dad, I want to dress as comfortable as possible when doing my day-to-day routine. I wake up early, get my daughter ready for school and then when I get back home I want to rest for a little while before jumping into my dad duties.
So what's the best way to be relaxed and still look good...or at least somewhat good in my case? Keep reading and I'll let you know what my new secret is.

Trying to get some #ToughRelief with Fisherman's Friend
Disclosure: Fandads have partnered with Life of Dad and Fisherman's Friend for this promotion. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
Have you ever heard the saying that people are in your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime? Yeah, I thought that was a bunch of hooey, but then I started thinking about the people that have come and gone in my life. When you look at it, some people have a purpose in your life. Then, there are those that say they are your friends, but end up being nothing but a pain in your....well, let me tell you a story about one of these "so-called" friends.

I have a new "Wingman" in my life thanks to Stouffers #FitKitchen meals. #Sponsored
Before I had my first child I would run about 3-4 miles everyday. This was easy because I lived with my parents and they had a treadmill in the basement. When I moved out and got married, my exercise was limited to walking my dog around the neighborhood, but I did manage to squeeze in running every now and then.

All aboard the #MilkDrive to Feeding America #Sponsored
Every morning in our houseshold there are three containers filled with milk: my son's sippy cup, my daughter's cup and my cup that I drink while getting her ready for school. While this might seem like a normal occurrence in most households, the truth is that it is not.

The Fandads learn to #CommandTheForce #sponsored
The Fandads were supplied with samples of the Star Wars Command line and were not paid for their review. All thoughts and opinions are our own.
When I was younger I had a huge Star Wars collection. I had a good amount of the figures and I would always get together with my friends to replay scenes from the movie or just stage some epic battles. The one problem that I would have with taking my figures to my friends' houses was that I would always end up losing a weapon or two.
Imagine staging a huge battle between your figures and your stormtroopers have to share their blasters to protect themselves. That's not a fun battle, not fun at all. Recently the Fandads teamed up with Life of Dad and Hasbro to try out the new Star Wars Command line. Check out how we tried to #CommandTheForce.

What makes a memorable Dad Moment? #PowerofDad #OralB
As a dad there are days where you sit back, watch your kids run around and you think one of two things: "How did I get so lucky?" or "He/She is moving and got up off the floor, they'll be ok".
It's little moments of reflection like these that start teaching us about what kind of fathers we are becoming and what our favorite moments of fatherhood are.
Let's examine a few of mine.

We're going to a #SuperMilkMan Twitter Party #Sponsored
In promoting The Rock's milk campaign and The Breakfast Project, the fellas at Life of Dad are going to throw a #SuperMilkMan Twitter Party this Thursday, August 15 at 12 noon EST/11am CST. Why should you attend this party? Did you not look at the picture? There is a 16GB iPad mini up for grabs along with 5 "The Rock-MIlk Gift Packs"! A party where you don't have to leave home and you can win a prize? Sign me up!
(This is a sponsored post and Fandads is being paid by Life of Dad, LLC to be entrants in this contest. So basically, we are being paid to make a fun video about milk and possibly meet The Rock.)
The #SuperMilkMan Twitter Party is going to be hosted by @lifeofdadshow and co-hosted by @tommyriles @ChrisRoutly @CuteMonsterDad and @DiaryDad. So, if you don't follow these guys on Twitter do so now so you can be ready once Thursday comes. If you already are on Twitter why not tell people you are going. Let your friends and family know and use the hashtag #SuperMilkMan to spread the word. Here's a little help:
"We're going to the #SuperMilkMan Twitter Party on Thursday, Aug. 15. NoonEST/11CST" (Tweet This)
As for our video, it is still in the works. Nolan was taking it to a dark place and we want it to be family friendly. Maybe Tarantino is not busy.
So join us Thursday and let's have some fun at this party and if you show up with no pants, no one will judge you.

The Fandads and The Rock...It Could Happen! We are Official #SuperMilkMan Entrants
Thanks to the Life of Dad site we were given a great opportunity to be featured in their "30 Dads, 30 Days" posts earlier this year. Now, again thanks to this site, we are an official entrant in the #SuperMilkMan contest where we can win a trip to hang out with The Rock. Imagine that: Finally, the Fandads meet the Rock in Chi-caaaa-goooo!!! Well, I don't know if that's where we're going to meet, but either way, IT DOESN'T MATTER where we meet. Whatever does happen, the Fandads will go one on one with the great one. (Alright, enough catchphrases.)
So what do we have to do to meet The Rock? We have to make a 10-15 second video on Instagram and post it here, Facebook, Twitter and just spread the word about #SuperMilkMan. Pretty easy right? The question is can we match the ultimate #SuperMilkMan, The Rock? Remember his commercial during the Big Game? (Trying not to get in trouble by using the actual term) Here's a reminder:
I think our video can top this. We are just waiting for Zach Synder to finish the storyboards and then it's showtime. So keep an eye on the space below to witness the awesome that we are creating. (Man, I'm hyping this up too much.)
Now, we're not going to have all the fun of making a video and leave our readers out. You can get in on this too. Here's how: This Thursday, August 15 Noon EST/11am CST, there will be a Twitter Party thrown by Life of Dad (@lifeofdadshow) and co-hosted by @tommyriles @ChrisRoutly @CuteMonsterDad and @DiaryDad. During this twitter party you will have the chance to win one of 5 "The Rock - Milk Prize Packs" (a $98 value). So if you're on Twitter, Follow us @fandads and @lifeofdadshow and use the hashtag #SuperMilkMan to take part in the party, maybe win a prize, learn more about milk and smell what the Fandads are cooking (sorry, I just had to add that one).

We've Only Just Begun!
Hello friends, Fandad Victor here and we just wanted to thank everyone that has been supporting us on the website for the past three years. As you can see, we have been a little behind with posts, but we are hoping to alleviate that situation within the next few weeks. To try to keep us on task, we have hired a new assistant. So far she's been a great help answering phones, taking messages and it doesn't hurt that she has her own laptop.
